VATSIM Israel – VATIL is announcing the celebration of VATSIM's 10th birthday.

On the 27th of July VATSIM is officially 10 years old. It has been decided that the birthday events will be held on July 30.

VATIL is celebrating as well, working in cooperation with Cyprus VaCC & VATRUS. The event will provide 10 hours of NON STOP full ATC coverage in Israel. In addition there will be coverage of the route to and from Cyprus, Israel and Moscow.

The event will start at 09:00Z and end at 19:00Z, and we hope it may continue even longer.

VATIL – VATSIM Israel Division and Cyprus vACC are keeping the new tradition which will now take place every month.

Due to the attractive short flight route between Ben Gurion and Larnaca - Only 40 minutes of glory flight, with a jet aircraft, full ATC coverage on the route and a lot of traffic in  a small area, we decided to perform a monthly event between Ben Gurion, Tel Aviv (LLBG) and Larnaca (LCLK) airports.

This event, will take place in June 25th between 1600Z - 1900Z (1900 - 2200 Israel Local Time).
Full ATC coverage is expected in Tel Aviv and Larnaca, throughout the entire route.

Despite the short route, we are asking you to have full charts, in order to avoid any problems.

We are hoping to continue this tradition,every month, with more surprises to come.
