The new Tel Aviv VFR Photoreal Scenery
The new and updated Tel Aviv Photoreal VFR scenery has been released today, on Israel's 56th Independence Day. This release covers 56 most significant buildings in Tel Aviv, overlaid on enhanced, multi-seasonal 4.8m/pixel satellite photo.
This work is the most accurate Tel Aviv VFR scenery to date and is a result of about five months of research and development. The sizing, object location etc. was based on a combination of maps, satellite photos, pictures and visits to location. In addition it closely follows tips and information from various architecture companies which planned the buildings, leading to very accurate modeling. Happy flying over Tel Aviv!

FS2004 Scenery - Orot-Rabin power plant near Hadera, Israel (named after the late Israeli prime minister) is located on the Mediterranean coast between Tel-Aviv and Haifa and therefore is a well known landmark for VFR pilots. The power plant is operated with coal and has an output of two 700mw + one 1,400mw turbines. A total of 2,800mw and a 1,800 meter long unloading pier for coal ships. Made in gmx. Enhanched with smoke effects and night lighting for navigation. |
